Guest speaker: Our speaker for the evening will be Staff Sergeant Greg Doerr, Hamilton Police Service and the topic will be fraud prevention awareness. Fraud is theft by lying or cheating. There are many types of frauds, scams and thefts designed to part you from your money. Here is the break down of categories: Telemarketing, Direct Marketing, Mail / Newspaper Marketing, Bank related Scams, Thefts by Deception / Distraction.
