Nationally Accredited Educational Programs

The Canadian Institute of Management offers a comprehensive National Accreditation process that reviews college and university programs and grants equivalency to the Institute’s Chartered Management Program (CMP) which can be used towards the Certified in Management (C.I.M.) or Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.) professional designations.

PURPOSE OF ACCREDITATION
Nationally Accredited programs demonstrate a high level of competency in business education and directly embodies the standards of business and management that graduates of these accredited programs gain. Students of the CIM accredited programs will demonstrate readiness to start rewarding careers as managers and business managers or business leaders in a wide range of business related disciplines.

GOALS OF ACCREDITATION
National Accreditation serves two fundamental goals: to ensure quality assurance of programs in business and management and to advance continuous improvement. In serving these goals accreditation is principled upon assurances about a program’s conformity to discernible standards in higher education.
