On behalf of CIM National, we are pleased to invite you to the 72nd Canadian Institute of Management Annual General Meeting and Professional Development Symposium, June 12th to 14th, 2014, at the Four Points By Sheraton Toronto Airport hotel. Our conference theme is Time of Change.

Our Professional Development Symposium will comprise four outstanding speakers who are experts in their field. These sessions will be educational and entertaining, and will provide you with new ideas and skills that you can begin using right away. Come and join us in beautiful Toronto, Ontario.

CIM is pleased to announce that we are launching a new weekly newsletter, Management Matters, beginning October 29th as a free service to all of our members. Management Matters is an informative e-news brief that delivers the most relevant content to your email’s inbox every Tuesday, and will feature CIM news, events, announcements and articles. In addition, it will feature current and compelling news articles on leadership, management, global business, finance and banking, entrepreneurship, technology and more!

Connect and Share! If you prefer a more mobile approach, use your iPhone, iPod Touch and Android to get the Management Matters delivered automatically eachweek, straight to your device. The Canadian Institute of Management held our Annual General Meeting and National Conference in London, Ontario.  On Friday the CIM London Brach hosted an exceptional professional development day with international speakers highlighted by the Breakfast speaker, Rex Murphy (columnist for the National Post; host of Cross Canada on CBC Radio).
 
We are proud to announce that Dr. Matthew Jelavic, C.Mgr., is our National President and Chief Executive Officer.   Dr. Jelavic served as National Vice-President of Education since 2008.  We also thanked Betty Smith who now becomes our Past President and Secretary.   We would also like to announce that Nicole Hamilton and Nancy Lockman were elected to the National Board.  Nicole Hamilton will serve as National Vice-President of Education and Nancy Lockman will serve as National Vice-President of Membership Services.  You can view our entire National Board here.
 
The Canadian Institute of Management is Canada's senior management association. As a not-for-profit organization, the Institute was established in 1942 and is dedicated to enhancing managerial skills and professional development. Currently, there are 16 branches coast-to-coast with the National Office in located in Barrie.
