3 Priorities for Creating a Culture of Learning During and After the Pandemic
October 5, 2020: 2 PM PST / 5 PM EST
For many organizations, their learning plan went out the window when Covid-19 hit. Budgets were slashed or used for purchasing equipment to provide to teams working remotely. Everyone scrambled to support remote workers and leaders in what might be likened to firefighting. What many hoped would be a short-term situation has been stretching out for months and, depending on the organization, may not have any end in sight yet. At a time when Leadership teams are revisiting their learning plans, they need to develop strategies for short and long-term training solutions in a much-changed environment. In this informative webinar/discussion group you will:
- Discover 3 strategies to integrate new team members through on-boarding training even if they never stepped into the corporate office.
- Learn how to deal with the fires that burn so hot you don’t know how to handle them without hosing them with all the remaining learning and development budget you have.
- Create a plan of how to develop your learning interventions needed for the long-term without becoming rigid and inflexible.
During the webinar, exclusive to members of the Canadian Institute Of Management, participants will be put in breakout groups to discuss the different areas of the presentation and report back to the large room. There will also be polls to get a general idea of how the topic impacts participants in their organizations. This meeting will include small group discussion so we will ask the members to activate their camera and microphone to engage with the fellow members on the call.
