The Northern Alberta and North West Territories branch of CIM welcomes you to our page on the National CIM website. To help you understand some of our unique characteristics, please find below some interesting facts:

• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch serves a geographic area of more than 1,470,000 square kilometers
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch serves a population of more than 1,200,000 people
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch was formed in 1985 and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch has hosted national conventions in the past
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch is partnered with a number of local educational institutions including the University of Alberta, Athabasca University, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and Keyano College to co-ordinate CIM courses with our local institutions towards granting CIM’s professional management designations
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch has its own website and it can be accessed herehttp://www.cimnorthernalberta.com/
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch has approximately 125 active members
• The Northern Alberta/NWT branch holds quarterly members “get togethers” where we network with other community and business groups to increase our management connections and skills
