The Canadian Manager

The Canadian Manager is the official quarterly publication of the Canadian Institute of Management, which was established in 1942.

The Mission Statement of the CIM is: To lead in the delivery of quality programs which will promote the continuous education and professional growth of our members.

The audience of this magazine includes mid- to high-level managers, business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate decision-makers, business and management students, market researchers, government and company libraries, totalling the readership to over 12,000.

Recent issues have included articles on teambuilding; marketing; mergers & acquisi- tions; time management; performance appraisals; hiring & firing: financial planning; computing; small business management; meetings; public speaking; the Internet and much, much more.

Each issue also includes a column of ‘‘Managers' Resources’’.

It is read by middle and upper management including CEO’s, CFO’s, presidents, managing directors, vice presidents, and general managers.

Our corporate membership is very diverse and includes 3M Canada, Air Canada, Bell Canada, Bank of Montreal, Bombardier Aerospace, Canada Post Corp, Canadian Tire Corp., CPR, Dupont, Emco, Honda, and IBM.
