F. CIM Program (Chartered Manager
Diploma/Designation)
“Leaders in Management Knowledge”
The Chartered Manager membership category is the Canadian Institute of Management’s senior academic qualification and chartered professional designation. It is abbreviated as F.CIM and used as a post-nominal to accredited members in good standing.
The F.CIM designation recognizes senior-level management training and academic competency and is most suitable for holders of advanced-level degrees in management or business administration, or for those that have completed the Institute’s F.CIM Diploma Program.
Holding the F.CIM designation provides a networking infrastructure for leading-edge managers and academics, and the opportunity for publication and knowledge dissemination through Canadian Institute of Management publications and white papers.
Holders of the F.CIM designation will belong to a fellowship of peers that share the Institute’s passion and enthusiasm for the development of leading-edge management knowledge. This fellowship of peers is a core resource of the Canadian Institute of Management to maintain its position as Canada’s senior multidisciplinary management association and the voice of the management profession.
Joining the Canadian Institute of Management as a Chartered Manager will allow the applicant to become part of a tight-knit, yet open, community that will allow for the personal and professional development of management knowledge and theory. Networking with academics and practitioners in management can pave the way for professional opportunities and the forging of lasting relationships locally and across Canada.
